Now that doesn’t exactly sound like good advice for any good guy, but actually, it makes sense. Let me back up.
So, when you’re editing a work of writing it’s good to write it all at once, but that doesn’t apply to editing. If you really, really want to make significant changes for the better, you have to wait. Let it fester in your mind. Forget what you were trying to communicate. Read some good writing and come back in two to three days to work on it again. You’ll find that you have a new set of eyes that not only catch a good deal of grammatical errors, they also can see what others would see, making it easier to fix all mistakes.
