Growing down.

It occurred to me in a rather slow, uneventful manner that if you are growing up, you must be growing down.

Think of a tree. If it is to be big, we generally think growing up has to be done, but growing up only happens if proper growing down is accomplished alongside the up growth. If the tree will ever become something in the realm of up, it must grow upward in the down direction in order to root into the soil and rock and become stable.

In a philosophical and visual sense, think of what this means… if you want to become something visible to the world, then you have to have something invisible to the world: Roots.

While you are busy becoming someone, dig roots into the Bible or you’ll have no one to become.
