“Please”: A song for the Christian journey.

Psalms 17:6. “I call upon you, for you will answer me, O God; incline your ear to me; hear my words.”

Mixing a rustic, old-west vibe and a contemporary music style, singer/songwriter Katy Nichole adds yet another stroke to the chorus of her latest album (Jesus Saved My Life) with the song “Please”, furthering the theme of Christ-dependency first introduced in earlier tracts such as “In Jesus Name”, “Jesus, Thank You” and “Jesus Changed My Life”.

I especially love this one song “Please” because it captures one of the most important elements of the Christ follower’s journey from start to finish—a cry to Christ for help!
